Pilates one on one classes are suitable for men and women of all ages and levels of fitness as the pilates classes are modified to suit your needs. When you choose a one-on-one session, Mia will plan a fitness routine that's right for you.

The benefit of private pilates classes is that you have all the attention of your pilates instructor. It's a good way to learn the basics of Pilates exercises because the instructor will be absolutely focusing on your needs, helping you improve your technique and helping you progress.
Private sessions allow for faster progression and development and are a must for anyone requiring personal attention. They also offer flexibility time wise; you can arrange an appointment to fit your schedule.

Prenatal / Postnatal Pilates
Designed specifically for the pregnant and post-natal woman, Pilates will help stabilize fragile muscle groups associated with pregnancy. This 60 minute full body program, can also help women strengthen, tone and maintain flexibility. This class is also an ideal option for those with diastasis recti, hernias or other abdominal injuries. You need not be a mother to benefit from this class. Non-crawling infants are welcome.
An easy to follow, choreographed 55-minute class utilizing an exercise band for efficient aerobic and strength training. Booty Barre Flex & Flow is the perfect blend of deep muscle toning with the fluidity of ballet, the flexibility of yoga, and the core strengthening of Pilates. The class is designed with well- balanced sequences that combine strength from isometric and full range of motion movements plus flexibility from long, sweeping dance-based exercises. The dynamic class is available for all fitness levels with rhythms to feel the fun and take your group fitness to the next level.
We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a wellness program designed to help adult cancer survivors reclaim their health and well-being following a cancer diagnosis. We create a welcoming community in which survivors can improve their strength and physical fitness, diminish the severity of therapy side effects, develop supportive relationships, and improve their quality of life.
12-week program with two 90-minute sessions per week
Sessions are hosted in small group, supportive environments and
facilitated by YMCA certified instructors
Each session includes cardiovascular conditioning, strength
training, balance and flexibility exercises
Pre and post participation evaluations to include functional and
quality of life assessments

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a FREE program for adults 18 years or older who is living with or beyond cancer treatment. LIVESTRONG participants and their caretaker also receive a full 12-week membership to the YMCA of Metro North.
